To celebrate K week we had the week of Katie Elizabeth!
My sweet cousin Katie and my aunt Shawn were here last week from Bartlesville..we did lots of fun stuff!
Jack helped MiMi write with sidewalk chalk "welcome katie elizabeth!"
We painted pottery one day. Here is MiMi with the boys and Katie Elizabeth!
Sammy painted a bee and Jack painted a snake...I let him pick both things!!! He is so funny!
Elizabeth painted lots of fun things! She is very creative!!
My mom had activites planned for the whole week....not only is she a great mom and MiMi she is such a good aunt!!!! She definitely has a gift of hospitality and knows how to make someone feel very special when they are over! This is a picture of Sammy enjoying a birthday cake! One night was a birthday party for everyone! I made little mini birthday cakes with everyone's name on the top...we did candles and everything! It was lots of fun! Since we don't get to see them and celebrate with them on all of our birthdays she picks a day out of the year to celebrate! Very fun!
This was the Hawaiian night...she did a theme for every night they were here....this night ended in a water gun fight with the whole family...it was lots of fun! We had steak and veggie K -bobs too...Katie and the boys had special fruit and cheese K-Bobs and chicken and tator tot k-bobs....they weren't big fans of the steak, so these were perfect!! She even let Katie and the boys help make them! We did lots of fun K things last week and this week....we practiced the letter K, memorized our K verse, went to Krispy Kreme, we wanted to fly a kite...but it never worked out....watched Sammy's new kitty cat movie about 100 times...he loves it!!!! and lots of other fun K things!
