Sammy wore his road trip shirt for the 5.5 hour trip!!! He has the cutest little smile in this picture! He was so glad to get out of the car!!!
After 5.5 hours in the car Jack was dying to play with his trains!!! Before we left Mimi brought over a bag full of goodies for the boys...lots of fun snacks for the drive and this Thomas the Train play mat...it was a life saver!!! He had so much fun playing in the room! The first day we were there he said "Let's go back to the cation and play with trains" he didn't really understand what a vacation was at first?!?!
We stayed in the Crowne Center area of downtown KC...it was SO FUN!!! Very kid friendly!! The boys had lots of fun playing in this huge Crayola Store! We also ate at the Crayola Cafe that night!
This was called Moneyville...it was so fun! It was in that same shopping center..the kids could set up a little vegetable stand and play Market...the boys also made this cute pretend money with their pictures on it!

This was one of Jack's favorite places on the trip!! It's called Fretz's and your food is delivered to you by a TRAIN!!!! It was so cute!!
There were little windows at each booth and trains would go by ever so often...Jack was in heaven!!!
Our main reason for going was to see my friend Missy's new baby girl! We went to their house for dinner (her husband Jason us the yummiest dinner!!! Steaks, mushrooms and onions, potatoes, and homemade BBQ sauce!!! It was YUM-O! Thanks Jason!!)Here are the boys playing trains....They had so much fun together! I wish we lived closer!!!
Jaycee just hanging out with Mommy and LaLa! How cute is she??? She was the sweetest little baby! I don't think I heard a peep the whole time we were there!!!

We went to the Great Wolf Lodge for the last night...It was SO FUN! Sammy was probably a little young...but he did great!!

How fun! I bet Jack loved getting his food delivered by a train! And Sammy was so cute with that cute little smile. Im glad you all got to get away. So much fun! Hope to see you this weekend!
