A is for Apple Pie

A few weeks ago I started going through the alphabet with Jack teaching him a scripture for each letter of the alphabet ( I wish I could take credit for this idea on my own, but I got the idea a few years ago from a book called Being a Great Mom Rasing Great Kids..it is one of my all time favorite books!!!) Well, we got to D and I decided to start over and do it a little bit different....Jack has know the alphabet for a long time now, but just recently he has started asking a lot of questions about how things are spelled or what they start with...so I am starting over and we are going to spend a few days on each letter, eating new foods that start with that letter, activites that start with that letter and of course the scripture that starts with that letter too! We started today with A!
The day started with a doctors Appointment (poor Sammy was up all night with an ear infection!) and then we looked for A words all day like Airplanes, Acorns, Ants, Apples... then we went to MiMi's house to bake an Apple pie! We talked about people that we love that start with A like, Aunt GiGi, Aunt Nikki, Angie, Allyson.... Jack got a new train today named Arthur! We also talked about the memory verse for the day As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Sammy got to help too!

All done...we marked it with an A on the top for A Day!
