C iS fOR cORN cUPCAKES

We are off to a rocky start on the letter C! Sammy has not been feeling very well (from his ear infections last week) and my cAR had to be taken to the shop.....so we haven't been able to leave the house much...but we've still managed to do a few C things.... This book is ADORABLE!!! My mom got it a few months ago and I have been "borrowing" it for a while now!!! (I'm hoping she forgets that I have it!) Its all about cUPCAKES!! Everything from recipes, to decorating...it even shows all the techniques for using a ziplock bag as an icing bag and ways to cut a hole in the bag to make all the different tips....it really is a GREAT book!

They have these fun cORN cUPCAKES in the book and I have been wanting to make them for something! They look much better in the book...but I just think they are so cUTE!!!!

Tonight we let the boys decorate cROSSES with their names and then I had Jack tell me everything that he was thankful for....this is the list in the order he listed them...

I am not going to get my feelings hurt that I ranked 11 on his list behind 3 trains, chicken and candy.....this is what Jack tells God that he is thankful for almost every night! Sometimes he throws toe nails, tooties, or burps too!!!

Sweet Sammy decorating his cROSS....he kept getting frustrated that all the sticky letters were getting stuck on his little fingers! He has had a rough week! He has had double ear infections for a week...then today he broke out in a rash all over his little body...we went to see Dr. Crittenden this afternoon and he thinks that he is allergic to the antibiotic that he has been on for his ears!! Bless his heart!

Tonight we decided to try a new food... cHINESE food! Bob and I love it...but the boys have never really had it...so tonight we went to our favorite take-out place and had the boys try something new! They both thought the cHOPSTICKS were pretty fun!

We also ate cANDY, MiMI got Jack cLARABEL (a new train), ate lots of cHICKEN, looked for the letter C when we were in the cAR, and learned the verse Commit to the Lord whatever you do. Proverbs 16:3.

Funny Jack story...

Tonight Bob ran in to get our dinner and he said, "Mommy, is he getting doughnies?" I said "No, he's gettting Chinese food for C Day" He said, "No, C day is over Mom...it's D day now, let's go get doughnies!!!"
