One year ago today Sam Thomas was born at 12:46 p.m. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 inches long! This picture is not his actual birthday...but the day we took him home! Sam was born 5 weeks early and had to spend 12 days in the NICU...I should have known then that Sammy was going to do everything his way and on his terms! He is the funniest little guy! All of the nurses in the NICU kept telling us how "spunky" he was ...that is a great way to describe our little Sam! Very SPUNKY!

When I was little we always had "Family Day" on Sunday! That is what we did today with the boys to celebrate Sam's Birthday! We turned the t.v. off and didn't talk on the phone or anything! We just played, read books, and celebrated SAM! This pic is Sam in his new little chair! It was a birthday gift from my parents!
